Analyzing the rising requirements of real estate buyers and the adaptation of design processes to modern security challenges, Perfect Group CEO Oleksiy Koval notes:
“In one of the properties we are currently designing, alongside a full-scale shelter (mandatory under the new State Building Codes), we are considering reinforced safe rooms, looking closely at the Israeli experience. It may be necessary to further reinforce structural frames, implement heavy-duty designs similar to elevator shafts, and so forth. Naturally, this increases project costs and may initially be offered not across all residential classes — the pilot will launch in a club house.”
Elaborating on additional structural and technical elements designed to protect residents from shrapnel injuries, the head of the development firm emphasizes:
“Among the new solutions that primarily protect against flying shrapnel is the additional installation of exterior roller shutters. This feature is already being integrated into new projects.”
